Physiotherapist Jess Norton has a strong background in manual therapy and in prescribing exercise programs to avoid injury or to speed recovery from injuries. She also has acupuncture and dry needling credentials. She has experience practicing in a multidisciplinary setting to determine the best treatment for each patient. She enjoys helping people achieve their rehab goals and has a strong interest in injury prevention.
Jess has treated a broad range of athletes from weekend warriors to professional athletes including time as club physiotherapist with Palm Beach Soccer Club, physiotherapy work for professional soccer club Gold Coast United in the A-League and BMX Australia at various international World Cup events. Jess has recently returned to the Gold Coast after working in a leading sports medicine centre in Canada for the last 3.5 years.
Jess likes to stay up to date with the latest sports medicine research and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She earned Bachelor degrees in Physiotherapy and Exercise Science from Griffith University in Australia with awards for academic excellence.
