Tim Cottman-Fields

Physiotherapist

Tim is an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist & Physiotherapist and has worked in sports and private practice since graduating. Tim has experience working with individuals under NDIS and all aspects of chronic disease management. He has previously developed and managed cardiopulmonary, Parkinson’s Disease, Diabetes and Falls and Balance programs. He is our clinic Pilates instructor and has run classes for the past 10 years. He is also a trained strength, conditioning and weightlifting coach and co-runs our Youth Performance Program.

Tim is trained in a wide range of manual based therapies including dry needling, spinal manipulation, IASTM, kinesiology taping and thoracic ring approach. He enjoys combining his hands on skills with exercise rehabilitation and has a big interest in biomechanics and optimising training loads to ensure injuries don’t reoccur. He believes in taking a unique and specific approach to each patient and takes in to consideration everything that might be causing your pain and symptoms.

He enjoys working in all aspects of private practice however has special interests in treating upper limb conditions (including post operative), spinal pain, tendon conditions and return to sport and healthy ageing programs. Outside of work Tim enjoys camping, exploring South East Queensland and hanging out with his family, friends and 2 German shepherd dogs.
