Jacinta FosterVestibular Physiotherapist
Jacinta is a vestibular physiotherapist from Queensland, Australia, having completed her Masters of Physiotherapy degree in 2014. Jacinta has completed competency-based vestibular rehabilitation training at a basic and advanced level as well as multiple other advanced vestibular professional development courses across Australia.
Jacinta complements her private practice work with years of experience within the public hospital sector. She also holds a permanent position in the Vestibular Physiotherapy Management Clinic at Logan Hospital as part of the Ear, Nose Throat Team. Jacinta is currently completing her PhD through the University of Queensland looking at the effect of vibrotactile neurofeedback on vestibular function and balance in older adults with hearing loss. She assists in teaching Vestibular Rehabilitation, Neurological and Balance components in the undergraduate Physiotherapy program at the University of Queensland.
She is passionate about getting people back to what they love to do and designs personalised programs to assist with ongoing balance and vertigo concerns. Jacinta uses infra-red technology to provide a thorough and detailed vestibular assessment to help guide her treatment choices. She helps run our dizzy clinic alongside Leia and Natalie.
